Recently I requested a scent sample from AERIN. I’d never heard of the brand before but I kept seeing the ad pop up in my Instagram feed. Since I saw they had a free sample request I figured I’d give it a try. Well when the sample arrived I set it aside for a bit. Upon doing further research I learned that AERIN is a part of Estee Lauder .
First impressions
My initial first impressions from just smelling the Aega Blosom sample tube were that it was a bit heavy on the floral scent. It almost smelled soapy to me. Once I applied it the scent blend melded together and didn’t seem to be so overwhelming. The first two scents I noticed right off were Jasmine and orange blossom. It also has a hint of a musk scent as well.
User Experience
I wore this scent a few days ago. I found the scent to blend well with my overall chemistry. I usually apply my scents once before I go out. I found that the Jasmine and orange blossom were again the most recognizable ones. As the scent settled I noticed the musk and evening rose scent. The other notes were subtle but as Aegea Blossom fades the other scents seem to appear.
Overall Aegea Blossom is good but I was a bit disappointed by it. I felt that after 2 hours of wear the scent was beginning to fade drastically. I had applied it to my pulse points and my wrists. By the fourth or fifth hour of wear I barely noticed any fragrance at all.
Final Thoughts
Even with the less than optimal wear time (in my opinion) I still think Aegea Blossom is worth trying for yourself. I think it would be a great scent for spring or summer. It’s floral yet not too sweet. I also enjoyed the scent blend overall. it had the floral yet almost tropical twist to it.
From my research, I found that this scent varies in price and can be found at a variety of retailers. You can check out the links below to learn more. I also found out that it comes in roller ball form or the traditional bottel as well.
