A few months back I shared about Skin & Lab Dr. Derma Solution Barrierderm intensive cream. It was a product I was selected to review via 08 Liter USA. You can see my original first impressions video here . Since I’m trying to finish up products I figured I’d come back to this one again.
Product Overview
The cream can be used on your face or any dry parts of your body. It’s stated to help soothe and hydrate dry skin. It is a thicker cream so a small amount goes a long way. It has a nice scent. One of the ingredients is Rosemary. It also includes Lavender as well.
As you can see is a standard white. It’s not very greasy or oily. I liked that. being that it’s to help soothe dry skin Skin & Lab suggests you apply it to moistened skin.
The cream absorbs quickly into the skin. My hand was dry when I applied it a few minutes ago. As you can see from the photo it’s invisible. It didn’t leave my hand feeling oily. Depending on how much cream you apply your hands may have a slight sheen to them. But the cream does offer a nice hydrating barrier.
My Final Thoughts
Overall I liked the cream. I found that it kept my dry skin very well hydrated. it also softened dry areas such as my elbows along with my heels. I liked that ti didn’t leave my hands greasy or tacky. It also didn’t leave my hands feeling so slick that it was hard to go about my general routines. I tried it on my face a few times as well. It helped with dry patches but i felt it was a bit too thick. I will add hydration will vary from user to user. If you use it on your hands this may also vary by how many times you wash your hands when using the product as well. It is a bit on the pricey side. It’s currently sells for $36 (USD) But if this is something you’d be interested in trying visit the link below.
