A few weeks ago I was able to request a free sample of Seattle’s Best Coffee. I was very excited about that. I’m a coffee drinker so I’m always trying to find new flavors or brands to mix things up a bit.

I was able to request this product thanks to Try It Sampling community. Just an FYI Try It isn’t accepting new members at this time. Due to the holidays it did take some time to arrive. But when it did I was very eager to try it. There was a variety of blends to chose from but I opted for a standard House Blend. This blend is a medium roast. Personally, I’m more of a dark roast coffee girl but again it’s always nice to mix things up a bit.

The bag is a nice size. it’s 12 oz according to the package. It comes with an attached twist tie if you’d like to use it. I didn’t. The instant i opened the bag I was struck by the fresh coffee scent. it’s earthy and robust. The grind is a bit on the fine side which I liked.

I have a drip coffee pot so I followed the instructions on preparing the coffee. Due to the finer grind of the grounds, it brews quickly. I don’t know about anyone else but I love the smell of freshly brewed coffee.

House Blend is flavorful and very robust. It’s not bitter or harsh. The color is pleasing to the eye and if you add milk or sweetener it’s even better. It doesn’t have any aftertaste. I can’t think of anything I disliked about this product.

For being my first impression Seattle’s Best Coffee House Blend will make a welcomed addition to my coffee brand rotation. It’s reasonably priced and can be found in-store or online. Visit the links below to learn more
