Dentis has agreed to #settle a #lawsuit alleging the #company #violated the #Telephone #Consumer #Protection #Act (TCPA) when it faxed #advertisements to individuals and #dentist offices without #permission.⠀

Under the TCPA, companies are prohibited from faxing, as well as #calling or #texting #consumers, including other #businesses, without #consent. Violation of the TCPA can result in steep fines, up to $1,500 for a willful violation.⠀

Dentis does not admit any liability under the terms of the settlement, but it has agreed to pay Class Members up to $50.⠀
