I turned 35 this year. That being said I’ve never been much into skincare. Yes, I would give myself facials or use moisturizer but I’ve always considered myself low maintenance kind of girl. I figured this year I’d try to take my skincare routine more seriously.
The Revitalift Challenge
Well, when I saw a recent email offering a free sample from L’Oreal I decided to try it.
The Revitalif challenge was simple you were sent 14 days worth of product pouches you used twice a day for the 14 days. Once you finished your challenge you were asked to post a review via L’Oreal’s website.
So I filled out the form and waited for my samples to arrived. They did and I was very excited to try them.
Day one picture
My skin isn’t too bad my major issues are occasional blemishes or large pores. I do have some large wrinkles on my forehead but that’s because I tend to be very expressive. What I hoped Revitalift moisturizer would do was help hydrate my dry skin.
Revitalift packs
I took this picture a few days into the challenge. The packs are a nice size and you use one twice a day.
The moisturizer has a nice scent. it’s very soothing. It can come off as a bit soapy when you first open the packet. It is a thick consistency and coats your face well.
It’s a bit of a yellowish white in coloring. It may take a few seconds for it to absorb into your skin. I found that a small amount worked well to coat my face and neck. You also might need to work it into your skin so it absorbs fully.
Once it’s absorbed into your skin I noticed that my skin felt more hydrated. I also noticed that the scent started to dissipate. I found that the hydration lasted for a while. I did feel towards the evening that my face was trying to feel less moisturized. I think this may have to also do with your environment as well.
I will say when I used it at night my face still felt moisturized in the morning
The Results
This was a picture I took this morning after I had let my final packet absorb into my skin.
I will confess I did see a bit of a difference in my skin overall. I’m not saying it was anything major but I did see a small change.
My skin does look smoother and didn’t seem to be as dull. I think it helped with any minor wrinkles I might have. I also thought that it helped with any dry patches I have as well.
In short, i noticed a how hydrated my skin was when using this product.
The 14-day Rvitalift Challenge packet also included a coupon.
My Final Thoughts
All in all, I’m glad I participated in the Revitalift Challenge. I was able to try the product before buying it. Like with any skincare product individual results may vary.
For me, I didn’t experience any adverse reactions. As I mentioned the scent is a bit strong so if you are sensitive to fragrances this may not be a product for you. But again, this may vary from product to product.
