Well, Oct. 3rd is National Boyfriend day. I didn’t know this until Tuesday when I saw a post from world day calendar on Instagram. FYI if you don’t follow them you may want too. I never knew there were so many interesting days.Â
I’m sans boyfriend at the moment but I still took the time out of my day to draw a doodle (header image). I also took the time out to wish a few male friends happy boyfriend day. It’s silly but still nice to appreciate someone in your life.Â
The best part about being sans boyfriend on National Boyfriend day is that my imaginary boyfriend can be whatever I’d like him to be.
I enjoy giving imaginary boyfriend various professions. He’s been everything from a fireman to a police officer (one of my favorites) to even a musician.Â

He shamelessly likes the same band I do.
I will admit I may have modeled imaginary boyfriend after the lead singer of noted band.Â
But best of all imaginary boyfriend is great because he’s ever so loving.
Yes, I know this was very silly and probably downright stupid but it was still my way of showing that even if you’re single you can make the most out of it. If anyone is interested you can see a few more of my doodles via my Pinterest account.Â
