Let’s face it we all love discount stores for one reason or another be it for the selection or brands we love. To finish off this set of posts I thought I’d share some of my final thoughts on discount store shopping. Thanks for sticking around if you read my earlier posts. Welcome if you’ve stumbled upon this post. I’m going to try to wrap up the last few sections I like to shop. So let’s get started.
Food Items
Discount stores have a wide variety of food items. I can say I’ve found a lot of great products. I was introduced to Pukka Teas this way. I like to pick up sea salt when I see it or other name brand items. I’ve also found a few good unknown brands as well. Every once in a while you may find a Yogi tea or another popular brand. Like with everything read the ingredients and find the country of origin. During the holiday season is when they have a larger selection. They also have great gift sets too.
Clothing and Accessories
Clothing
Clothes again at times a hit or a miss depending on your size and style. The only quick tips I can add check the quality and make sure it doesn’t have any damage or loose seams or missing buttons. Always check zippers as well.
Shoes
Shoes are the same as clothes check to make sure they are sized correctly and check the overall construction of the shoe.

Handbags
If you’re like me and you tend to change purses at least once a year or with seasons a discount store is a great place to buy them. The tips I suggest once again check the quality of the bag. Check it’s overall contribution. Make sure there isn’t any possible tears (if fabric) or other damage. Don’t forget to check all handle seams and buckles, zippers etc. As we all know nothing is worse than going to zip a bag closed and have it not work.

Final Thoughts
Discount stores are great in my opinion because you can always find something. Even if you’re not shopping for clothing your sure to find an item you like or will fit your needs. Another quick addition that I like to pick up is fragrances. I always tend to find a product for someone when I shop. I like to buy the gift sets you can find during the holidays.
That being said it’s easy to go overboard too. What I”ve started to do is that I only go and browse then think if I really need a new product. If it was up to me I’d probably end up with 15 makeup palettes and only use one. All you can do is pace yourself when it comes ot products you love to buy. But if you’re like me you always feel that it’s a great deal and end up with something you will use. Not to mention give a gift a friend or a loved one will love.
