I applied to test a product via Tomoson.com. I chose to test Apothecary’s Australian Tea Tree Oil. The 4 oz bottle also came with a 53 uses for Tea Tree Oil. I used two of the skin care recipes today.
They were the following: 22 Moisturizing Face Wash What You Need: ο· ΒΌ cu p Greek Yogurt ο· 4 drops Apothecary Extracts Tea Tree Oil ο· 2 drops fresh lemon juice Mix It : Whisk yogurt, lemon juice and tea tree oil in a small bowl. Apply It: Rub onto face and neck in a circular motion for about 2 minutes. Rinse with warm water and pat face dry. This mixture can be used as a daily face wash for dry skin. I found the mask to be very refreshing and it also brightened my skin a little. Since I am prone to dry skin I noticed that it didn’t leave my face flaky or overly dry.
For the second skin care option I used the following: 23 Replenishing Tea Tree Oil Body Scrub What You Need: ο· Β½ cup raw brown sugar ο· 8 drops Apothecary Extracts Tea Tree Oil ο· 1 tbsp. raw honey ο· ΒΌ cup sesame oil Mix It : Stir all ingredients together and store in a jar. Apply It: Scoop some up with your finger tips and rub on face, neck and body. Continue to rub the scrub in for a few minutes, then rinse off with warm water. I think I may have used a little too much sesame oil but I found that it left my skin feeling soft and supple. I do suggest you use this scrub with standing in the shower or bath tub that way you don’t get sugar everywhere. I found that this tea tree oil doesn’t have an overwhelming scent unlike other tea tree oils I have smelled in the past. It is subtle yet pungent. When mixed with another oil it didn’t seem to linger much or over power the carrier oil. I would be happy to purchase this oil again in the future along with other products from Apothecary products. so if you are in the mood to try something new I suggest this Australian Tea Tree oil.
