I would like to start out by thanking Tomson.com and the manufacture of this great Matcha tea for allowing me to try this product. I also want to add that I was give the item for free in exchange for my honest review.

I had only had Matcha tea once before and it was nothing like this. Since this is a powder form it is easy to make. Unlike the previous tea bag form of Matcha I had this one was not bitter nor did it have any after taste. It is very light and robust. I do suggest as do the directions to use a bamboo whisk or a non-metal milk frother. I had to use a teaspoon because I couldn’t find a small whisk. You start out making the tea by adding a small amount to the bottom of your cup then add a little water and whisk to break up any lumps. Then you add more water and keep whisking till it is well mixed. To be honest since this is the first attempt at making this tea I think I may have not mixed it enough. Besides that I can’t complain.

Once it is well mixed it will be a bright rich green color.. The one thing I did notice right after the first sip is that it is very rich in flavor and is smooth. It also offers  a bit of a green flavoring mixed in with its robustness. All I can say so far is that I enjoy it very much and found it very soothing.
