The opinion expressed is my own. I would like to thank Tomoson.com and 2lb Depot  for giving me the opportunity to review this product.

In my opinion not all shower curtain hooks are created equal. Now let’s be honest those of use who have shower curtains know how much of a chore it can be when it comes to  finding shower curtain hooks that work. I have tried several over the years, plastic and acrylic  rings or hooks. I’ve used a variety of metal hooks.  I even reviewed a metal clamp style hooks a few moths ago. You can read more about that here. I noticed that the plastic or acrylic rings work until one of two things happen. They crack or separate. Or when you have to change a curtain or a liner then you have to deal with taking down the rod and sliding off the rings. I also noticed this the previous hooks I reviewed.

Finally a few years ago I came across the double hook shower curtain hooks. Granted they were plastic but I loved them. Like everything they began to break down due to  wear and tear. When I saw the posting via tomoson for this promotion I thought I’d give it a try. I had purchased some replacement double hook hooks but they weren’t very sturdy and again they were plastic. Well when these arrived in the mail I was very surprised to see how well made they were. They are sold in a set of 12.

As you can see they offer a full hook head with a hook on each side. The added ball bearings offer a smoother glide when opening and closing the curtain. They also hold the liner and curtain in place. They are decent weight stainless steel and according to 2lb Depot they are rust proof. I love how these hooks offer a full hook head for easier installation. I have come across many shower curtain hooks that have a hook head half that size and end up buckling or jumping off of the rod when you move the curtain.

It offers a secure hold to the curtain rod. Thanks to the added ball bearings at the end it stabilizes it (in my opinion).

This is a better view of the hook hanging on the rod you can see it conforms to with out being off balance or loose.

I currently have a cloth  shower curtain and the hook held it with out any problem. Thanks to the ball bearing at the end helps keep the curtain in place with out slipping off.

I really put the hook to the test when attaching my heavy duty grommet shower curtain liner on the back hook.  As you can see it held it with out any sign of tilting.

In the end they held in place and glide very easily over the curtain rod with out showing any signs of buckling or jump off the rod as you open and Close the curtain. So in my opinion these hooks are worth the cost and work well. They are high quality. To learn more about these hooks visit the link below.
