I was sent a sample size bottle of Moroccanoil Treatment. The bottle is perfect to carry in a bag or keep in the bathroom or drawer.

Frist impressions

I found that the oil was a golden color. It has a appealing scent and fades quickly. It isn’t too strong or overwehlming.

Moroccan oil is golden in color.

I liked that the oil isn’t super thick or excessively oily. I applied a small amount to my hand and found it warmed wel. It didn’t leave my hand too slick or greasy.

User experience

I’ve used the product for three days in a row just to see what my hair would look like. I also wanted to see how much buildup my hair would have. In terms of oiliness or greasy feel.

Day one

I used the Moroccan oil on damp hair. I applied a few drops to my hands and massaged it into the lengths and ends of my hair. I let my hair air dry.

I found the oil adhereed well to my hair. It didn’t leave my hands excesively oily or slick.

The next morning I felt my hair was softer and looked okay. I didn’t notice it was weighted down or oily.

my hair did look a bit shiner. I didn’t have any oily feeling to my hair. I will note I didn’t have any oil spots on my pillow.

Day two

I used it again the night of day one to see what the difference would be. This time I used a bit more oil. I used around a quarter size and applied it to my lenghts and ends again.

I had a similar resutl to day one. My hair was softer and slighly shinier. I didn’t have as many tangles either.

My hair wasn’t left oily or greasy.

Day 3

On night two I repeated the same routine. I did add more hair oil this time. I worked it into my hair better as well. I tried to focus more on my ends to see how well it would hydate them.

The resutls wer slightly better then the first two uses.

Today I noticed that the my hair was softer but I had much less tangles towards my ends. It also felt much softer. My hair wasn’t left greasy or oily.

My hair was more manageable. My hair wasn’t limp or weight down at all.
