I’d never heard of Goodles until I saw it via Social Nature. It’s a better alternative to traditional boxed mac and cheese products.
They have a variety of flavors.
The product
I used my free product coupon for a Cheddy Mac box of Goodles.
The box is eye-catching and bright.
The box offers info about the product and the cooking directions on the back. The box also has a QR code.

It’s easy to make
This is like the traditional Mac and cheese you grew up making (you know the one in the blue box) but it has healthier ingredients.
The box includes the macaroni and the powdered cheese packet.
The box states to bring 6 cups of water to a boil. Once it’s a rapid boil you can add your macaroni.
I think I added too much water to my pot.
The pasta takes from 6 to 8 or 9 minutes to fully cook. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking. Once it’s fully cooked you can drain it but don’t rinse it (stated on the box).
You can add a 1/4 cup of milk. The box calls for low-fat milk but I used whole milk. i also didn’t measure it I just eyeballed it. You can also add 2 Tablespoons of butter and your packet of powdered cheese.
I will admit I did it backward but it still turned out okay.
At this point, I turned the stove back on and started to stir everything together. It takes a few minutes for the butter to melt and the cheese powder to combine with the milk.
Once it’s a smooth consistency it’s done.
I should have let the cheese mixture meld together a little longer but all in all, it turned out good.
I found that for me the box made about two servings or up to four depending on your serving size. I shared some with my mom and she liked it.

How does it taste
The Cheddy Mac was very good. It was creamy and smooth. The cheese powder blended well and didn’t clump. It has an even cheddar flavor. The pasta was cooked and slightly al dente. Overall it was good. This would be a good snack or an addition to lunch. This Cheddy Mac would be good as a side dish if you purchase two boxes.

Final thoughts
The Goodles Cheddy Mac was very good. It was easy to make and flavorful. I liked that this could be eaten as a snack or lunch or even added as a side dish. I didn’t find any cons. I liked that it offered a healthier alternative to the traditional mac and cheese sold in a box. The pasta was good and offered more protein than regular pasta.
I would buy this again along with trying another flavor.
