A few weeks back I shared about the Crosley C6 Turntable and speaker kit (KTC6B). Someone recently asked me if the Crosley C6 Turntable (KTC6B) could be connected to another Bluetooth-enabled device. It seems their turntable with speaker kit did not include a speaker and they were having difficulty pairing it with an existing Bluetooth speaker they already owned. So here are the steps on how to connect the turntable to a blue tooth device. I learned it could connect to a Bluetooth-enabled sound bar (in my living room).
- connect the turntable
- make sure it’s set to Phono
- turn on the turntable
- turn on the Bluetooth device (if not automatically done)
- pair with sound bar(if not automatically done)
- enjoy music
It also connects to a Sony SRS XE-200 Bluetooth-enabled speaker. Steps to pair with the speaker:
- connect the turntable
- make sure it’s set to Phono
- turn on the turntable
- turn on the Bluetooth device (if not automatically done)
- pair (if not automatically done)
- enjoy music
Connecting to an echo show:
- open the settings menu
- tap Bluetooth devices
- turn on the turntable.
- make sure it’s set to phono
- pair to Echo show
- enjoy music
Pairing time may vary or you may have to attempt to pair the devices a few times before they connect.
