I recently was able ot try a Costa Brazil product. The Lua Moonlight body oil was the sample I was able to request. it was a social media ad.

I had tried one other product from Costa Brazil in the past and liked it.

This is body oil is stated to be used at night.

The sample

I was sent a sample packet of the body oil. It included a QR code on the front of it for more info. The info card gave you additional info as well.

The body oil packet needed to be lightly shaken or massaged to incorporate all of the ingredients together.

For me opening it was pretty easy it had a tear open thanks to a perforated end.

The body oil is easy to use and can be applied to the entire body from the ne neck down.

It’s a white shimmer with a gold oil.

my user experience

I used the Lua Moonlight body oil during the day. I didn’t read the package before trying it. I liked that it was easy to apply. It left my skin feeling soft and supple. It does give you a slight glimmer but I may depend on how much you apply and your skin tone.

I didn’t have any skin irritation or issues after applying it. I liked that it absorbed well into the skin. It didn’t leave my legs feeling oily or greasy.

It does have a bit of a unique scent to it. I believe it’s due to the combination of ingredients.

I will note I had a person ask me via our Facebook post if I thought the product smelled like Pickles. Everyone has a different sense of smell. So to her, the product smelled like pickles. She subsequently threw it away feeling it may have gone bad during shipping.

But for me, it did have a bit of an exotic scent. I noticed oils right away. it has different notes including the passion fruit.

Where to buy and final thoughts

It appears that it can be found at select retailers and Costa Brazil.

The product is sold in a few sizes. Lua Moonlight body oil is sold in 30 ml and 100 ml size bottles. There is also a twin pack of their sol and Lua body oils in travel size as well.

Overall the product fit my needs. i tried it at night as well and found that it kept my legs hydrated and nourished.

The body oil is a bit out of my price range because it is considered a bit of a luxury brand for me. Visit the links for full pricing and details. I am happy to have tried the sample though.
