Lately selfie sticks have been an fascination of mine. Since I reviewed one a few weeks ago I wanted to find the next best thing in selfie sticks. Well when I came across this one on Tomoson.com I figured I give it a try and applied. Well I was overjoyed when I was sent the message letting me know that I was approved. I thought this Koi Technologies selfie stick by far is very unique in it’s design. It offers a Blue tooth enabled handle that also functions as a power bank to charge a phone or a tablet along with being a flash light.Of course it also takes photos and video.The entire selfie stick is made of a durable grade plastic. The grip is metal with rubber to offer a secure hold on your phone.

The charging port is on the back of the handle and has a removable plate for easy access. The port cover just slides to one side and when you are done you slide it back into place.

When charging it omits a flashing green red light then it may turn green. I didn’t notice how long it took to fully charge it may also depend on the option you use to charge it. It can be charged via your computers USB port or if you have a wall charger with a USB port it can be charged that way also. The latter is the way I charged it.

As you can see from the picture it comes with its own USB cable which offers a micro end and the USB end.

Once it’s fully charged you are all set to use the selfie stick or flash light. The handle is very easy to use and somewhat easy to ready. It has a camera image, an on/’off button, and the flashlight button towards the bottom.

To use the flash light fuction you just hold down the button for a few seconds and the light turns on. It omits a powerful bright white light. This would be great to use in case of an emergency or during a black out. Or even if you go camping. I took a photo in a dark part of my garage to show how powerful it i even took a photo in a darker part of my garage. Now to turn off the light you just press the button for a few seconds and it turns off. Please forgive the blurriness.

Now when you want to power on the handle for photos you press the power button for a second and it omits a blue light. After you connect it to your smart phone it will appear in the blue tooth list as S3.

Once it’s paired with your phone you are all set to take photos. The extension handle is unique in it self because it offers a twist to lock feature. you twist to the right or the left to lock or unlock it. Thanks to the twist lock feature you can extend the pole in sections or all at once. The camera button works great and takes great images.

The phone grip offers a rubber protected base that helps keep your phone in place. It also offers a spoke style attachment wheel that holds the grip in place. It also has a knob that allows you to rotate your phone back ward or forward.
