I thought I’d create a list of beauty product communities for all of you. These communities may require a product review in exchange for the product. Others may have other terms.
All of these communities or panels are free to join. Just note that some may be on a first come first serve basis. Others may have you fill out a survey or questionnaire to see if you match their requirements. Some panels may pay you for your testing time as well. You will need to do all your own research for each community or panel.
08L
08 Liter is a Korean brand that offers a variety of products. They do occasionally offer beauty products. I tried a lipstick from them a few years back.
bzzagent
I’ve been a member of Bzzagent for years. They offer a variety of products for testing. You will be required to share a product review after you’ve tried the product. Some of the best beauty products I’ve gotten from them were a Wander Beauty lipstick set and an It Cosmetics full-sized foundation.
Curion Prestige beauty panel
This panel is new to me but it seems that they have in-person testing if you are near their facilities. Also, they offer payment for your time.
Glimmer
Glimmer is a community that offers different opportunities. Some may be to win a gift card to Sephora. They haven’t offered much in terms of products for testing but it’s still a young community.
Home Tester Club
Home Tester Club has a variety of products but also includes beauty items sometimes. You will be required to write a review for the product after a short testing period.
Influenster
Influenster is another panel I’ve been a member of for a long time. They offer a variety of products in what they call a voxbox. These can be virtual or physical boxes. The community also offers a forum-like setting where you can post your reviews on certain products. A review is required along with other tasks when participating in a voxbox.
L’oreal consumer testing panel
This panel closed 12/31/2023. You can join Curion they are accepting former L”oreal memebers.
I’ve been a member for a few years. I’ve also participated in a few testing activities with them. One was app based with a questionnaire. I tested lipsticks. The other was more of a testing period test for a face product. I was paid for both studies. They also offer in person testing if you live in the area where their facilities are located.
Skeepers (Formerly Octoly)
Octoly is a first come first serve testing community. They have an app and website. most products vary but you may luck out and be sent a full sized product. I recently tested a Bobbie Brown foundation. They also have an influencer program as well.
The Pink Panel
The Pink Panel has a variety of testing opportunities. You will be asked to fill out a questionnaire to see if you would be a good fit for upcoming tests. They aren’t very long and if your selected to test a product your notified. Some testing opportunities may be paid. They also have survey’s for gift card drawings as well.
They also have a panel for men named Guys that Groom.
Smiley 360
Smiley 360 has a variety of products you can test. Some may include beauty products. They offer some quick questionairs and if your a fit your info for the mission. You will be required to provide social shares and a product review(s).
TopBox Circle
Topbox offers a variety of opportunities. Most have been surveys lately. But if you are selected for a product testing opportunity you will be notified.
Just a side note they do send out sampling emails but they may be for Canadian residents only. TopBox Cierlce also has a candian website but many of us in the states end up getting a notification email too.
There you have it. If know of any beauty communities or panels I should add just let me know.
